I'm in the process of building p11-kit from BLFS 9.1. I have not installed NSS,
and I will install make-ca as soon as p11-kit is done.
In the instructions
(http://linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/stable-systemd/postlfs/p11-kit.html), in
the section 'Configuring p11-kit' instructions are given in order to create a
symlink to use the p11-kit trust module as a replacement for libnssckbi. The
same symlink is explained on the NSS instructions (which I have not installed).
Please clarify: does this apply for systems (i) which have NSS installed, (ii)
which don't have NSS installed, or (iii) either way, independent on whether or
not NSS is installed?
