Why can't he type chkdsk L: /f /x for his scandisc? SA&G
: Hi Mich, : : Have you tried, as someone suggested, running a scan disk on the : drive, with : a thorough scan? : : You can get this option by highlighting the drive, then pressing the : applications key and arrow up to properties. : : In the properties dialog box, control+tab to the utilities page, and : tab to : the scan disk button. : : Make sure you highlight the radio button that says perform a thorough : scan, : including scanning the disk surface for any possible damage.
