Hi. I burn CD's with Windows Media Player 10. Once I open My Computer, I
copy and paste the tracks I want to burn into the recordable drive and
select write to CD. Then I go through the steps of selecting an audio CD,
clicking on burn, and then on start burn. In the end, I get a CD that will
play on any CD player.

But here's my problem. I don't know how I can tell when I've selected too
many tracks to burn and they won't all fit. I'm using 80 minute CDs, but
unlike with earlier versions of the burning program Roxio, Windows Media
Player doesn't seem to report on how much space I will have left, or let me
know if I've selected too many files to burn.

Is there a way to easily discover this information rather than just
guessing, and as a result ending up with an incomplete CD missing tracks I
wanted burned onto it?

Thanks,

Chris Feist - The one and only!
