Oh, at least for me I always know when it's done because the CD tray ejects
when it's finished burning.

But what my problem is that I don't know how many tracks will fit on a CD
I'm going to burn.  I usually put too many and it only burns some of the
tracks I've selected.  If I know exactly how many would fit, then I would
assemble the tracks in an order with that in mind.
