If you are going to invest in any wireless devices,
choose the G standard, because it doesn't limit you to one specific brand of 
devices.
The N, standard, has not been standardized and adopted by all hardware 
manufacturers yet, and therefore limits you to available devices supporting 
itd.

Wireless N standard is just coming out. It is just in a form like beta. Most 
laptops do not have
this, but yes, it is better, much better. If you want a laptop to get fast 
wireless
speeds, you want to get a laptop that supports the wireless standard. 
Otherwise, don't
get the expensive router, as the standard may change by the time the new 
release is ready.
