The Google toolbar is a pain in the neck and other parts of one's anatomy. 
To delete it, open the Control panel and choose add/remove programs.  Then 
arrow down to the Google toolbar and tab until you hear "remove program" or 
something to that effect and you hit the enter key or press the spacebar to 
begin the process.  You might have to wait a few seconds for the program to 
be removed.
