Lisa, did anything unusual show up in the event viewer. If Windows was aware that a serious error occurred then it may have written an event to the log with an error code that you can start with. Other than that there is probably not enough to go on. Hello everyone, I'm having a strange problem with my computer rebooting, and I'll try to explain it. I was doing a manual scan of my computer with SuperAntiSpyware, and my son was gonna use the computer, so he minimized it, and then the screen went black. Then it showed the computer restarting, but it didn't show the computer shutting down. After it restarted it said your system has recovered from a serious error. This is the first time something like this has ever happened, and I don't understand what could be going on. Everything else is working fine. I'm running windows XP home addition, and jaws 9 with IE7. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on, and how I can fix it? Any help with this will be very much appreciated!
