I think nero can handle those quite well, but I normally use MagicISO and MagicDisk to either mount the disk images virtually, or to extract them to a normal drive for temporary use, and I think they run in sort of old school shareware mode, in that they ask you if you want to buy almost every time, but never really stop working, and although the status bar icon menu of MagicDisk isn't too useful/accessible, in it's main window, MagicISO can actually carry out quite a few operations on MagicDisk like mounting/unmounting/creating virtual drives etc. etc.

There's also a rather unknow feature built into windows XP itsself that if you download a form of limited control panel, windows itsself can mount virtual drives based on disk image files, but magicISO is way better.

Stay well

Thanks. The problem was that she wanted to burn an iso image I sent her, so the CD writing wizard wouldn't work for this purpose. I personally found it to be flaky anyway, even under Vista, so I prefer a third party burner.

Although I'm using Windows XP, it's built-in CD writing wizard works fine for me in some cases (mostly simple data CDs), or else, I use Nero burning ROM after going through (I think), the blind-computing tutorials.

Hi all,
My friend's using UltraIso, and it's the first time she's using it. However, I'm wondering, are there any free and easy to use CD/DVD burners that is accessible with JAWS 9? She's running Windows Vista Home Premium. Thanks!
