hi

what I meant was, I had sent a program to Steve to help him with his computer virus. Out of curiosity I ran it myself, not only to find out if it was accessible but also to learn how it worked in the first place.

although this program said it was free, it is free to scan but you have to purchase the program to have it remove items.

it turned out when I had completed the initial scan, the program found two infections but as a result of them wishing you to purchase the program, it didn't tell me what the infections where.

any way, I decided to purchase the program. this wasn't easy at all as I had to enter a number in to a box that jaws wouldn't go to without a lot of persuading.

when I finally got that sorted out the so called infections weren't anything series any way. Never the less, I removed them and that process was a nightmare.

I've paid for this program now for a month so might as well use it.

it did another scan on it's own and found an item in my system restore files so that went too.

since I cant get this program to work well with jaws I'm kind of working blind here. (sorry for the pun).

but if Steve can get sighted help I do believe it will clear out the infection on his computer.

To go back to what you said in the below message, yes, I google all error messages as I like to know what the so called problem is and how to remove it etc. thanks for the suggestion though.

Elaine

May I suggest running a Google search for this error message? I've had good
luck doing that in the past.

hi Steve

well not sure how you got this infection then hay.

interesting...you know the program I just sent to you? out of curiosity I
used it myself, to se if it was accessible really. any way, it's found two
infections on my pc but doesn't say what it is.

but I use avast, malwarebytes, superanti spyware and non have them have come

up with anything.

very weird. so no ideas if it has found something or it's just saying that.

I'll carry on digging for other removal tools, I refuse to be told there
isn't one.

Thanks, I was just wondering if it might help. Not too knowledgeable on
the subject myself. I do have malware bytes and use it quite frequently in

conjunction with Avast professional and Super antispyware free edition.

hi Steve

I might be wrong but don't think it can, I for one wouldn't be sure it
was completely gone to be perfectly honest.

scan with anything you can find until it says it's clear.

I'd also go looking for a removal tool and hope it isn't one that says go

in to the registry. don't know about you, but I wont mess about in
there. *smiles*

what anti virus are you using?

might I also suggest malwarbytes, although not an anti virus program it
can pick up Trojans.

Apologies if you already have this program.

Hi,
Definitely malware, I haven't seen an easy fix for jinuyeju.dll removal
short of going into safe mode and doing lots of tricky things.
Try a full virus scan and run a few antispyware programs and see what
they
can do.
Good luck with this one, sounds tricky!

Hi, Upon restarting my computer, I received the following error:
Rundll32.exe - Bad Image
The application or DLL H:\WINDOWS\system32\jinuyeju.dll is not a valid
Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
OK
Before I restarted the computer, the system was performing very slowly.

I
was on Aim and it would not accept a file transfer, saying there was no

disk
space, which I knew was incorrect. When I restarted the computer, it
first
wanted to end a program that I didn't recognize the name of. Now the
system
is running normally, but Aim still won't accept file transfers, and
that
message has me a little worried. Any ideas? I am doing a virus scan
right
now using Avast, and if that helps I'll let you all know.
