Thanks, John. Since I just installed jaws10 today, I have set myself the task of actually reading through the jaws stuff on the programs list. And, after about 10 years of using jaws-all versions-I think I need to do some studying. So, I'm going to find out all I can about the desktop and system tray so I won't dontinue flying around this computer by guesswork. marilyn
