Use the specifically, Google accessible search:
http://labs.google.com/accessible/

After a search in which the rankings are also somewhat based on the accessibility of the content, you jump to 2 paragraphs using the P key, then jump heading to heading to jump through the 10 results per page.

Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Google problems with the latest version of JAWS

Hi:

when using Google, JAWS will no longer read the results of the search without being restarted. It's very frustrating. Maybe I should just use NVDA for google, but I hate to have to switch back and forth just to perform a decent search. I'm having a focus problem too, as in JAWS not always being able to focus on a link without bringing up the links list with insert f7. It's happening too much. Is anybody else having this problem with the new JAWS update? You would think they would be getting rid of bugs instead of adding more. No bashing, intended, just frustrated.
