I have a sighted friend who's just gotten hold of a laptop with windows vista ultimate already installed, and while she was given the password for the administrator account, at logon, it seems to be defaulting to another username, and I have no real experience with windows vista as such, and I don't know how to tell it we want to use another username - administrator in this case.
Problem is that it's not a drop down/combo box, or even a read only textbox, and we can't find any buttons etc. related to changing it, and also things like Ctrl + Alt + Delete don't seem to help. Is it possible, and how do we go about it without having been able to log in so far? Otherwise, should I just format the hard drive and reinstall some operating system I know better?
