Delete the nvda.ini instead.
After a fresh installation, I personally delete all language files and keep
the English file only, so you may get into the languages folder and delete
the rest and keep what you can hear.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Need some help with NVDAPlease
Hello friends;
I installed the latest NVDA and was playing around with the languages and
lost my way in the Arabic world.
I uninstalled and reinstalled but still can't get out of this mess.
I can't read the menus to choose any options since only numbers are read.
Any help would be met with much appreciation.
