Personally I have never experienced what is happening to you but, have you
tried unloading & reloading Jaws or rebooting the computer to see if either helps? Also, what operating system & what version of Jaws are you running?

 The items on my start menu, as of this morning, won't activate.  When I
enter on an item on the start menu, jaws says, unchecked; can someone tell
me what is going on? This is the first time for this for me; is my machine
