Yep, cannot use windows key as part of a keystroke, I gocha.  I had the
windows key on the brain for some reason when I typed that message, just a
slip of the tongue.

By default Windows 7, and possibly other windows operating systems will not 
allow you to use the Windows key to define a hotkey. You are limited to 
control +alt, control + shift, and Alt + shift keyboard combinations.

isn't a keystroke of windows key N, unless you asigned that as your

No, Windows-N will not launch Narrator.  If you want to launch it with one
keystroke, you have to create a hot key.  It's really no big deal.
