hello there;
if you don't want to hear jaws read those greater signs,

1, while in outlook express,
press,
insert+d=jaws dictionary.
note,
if you only want change for OE,
do not press ctrl+shift+d=default,
now, tab add,

now your being ask to type the word you want , jaws will say;

actual word,
here you would type in the greater symbol,
shift+.

now tab,
you will hear;
replacement word,
just press the spacebar,

now tab and enter on,
okay,
now alt+f4 and say yes to changes.

HI there Yvonne,
I hate too many programs sitting in my tray as well. Often times, the programs allow you to remove by going into it's properties or settings and selecting remove from system tray.

hello
i pose 2 questions and wondered if anyone can tell me how to do them

1 remove items from the system tray
i don't however want to delete the programs just so they don't appear in the system tray when i press f11

2 how do i remove this awful jaws statement "greater"
it is annoying when i read previous attached emails i hear jaws saying greater greater greater each time i down arrow
