Hi Bob;

Thank you very much for this great tip. I personally haven't found a need
for this great tip but, with the excellent quality I have of screwing up a
computer, it will come in very handy sometime soon! LOL Thanks again, take
care.

list

  Open windows explorer
Choose the list view for the mixed folder
  Highlight the top entry
  Route JAWSToPC
Move the JAWS cursor up one line to the column headings
Move the JAWS cursor over to the heading titled TYPE
  Left click once

That should sort the contents of the folder such that all entries of each
  type will be grouped together

  hth

  Bob

Subject: [Blind-Computing] How to mark and separate files from large list

  Greeting All,
Recently, my files got mixed under one folder. I have about 5000 different
types of files in this folder.
Its really tedious to pick each file one by one to separate and move to
  another folder.
How do I mark and separate those files at once which have the same file
extension, Like: .doc, .html mp3, zip, ETC.
I am using JFW V9 with Win XP.
  Thanks in advance.
