Dan,
Can you comment on how accessible the current version of Avast is with
screen readers?

How easy is it to go into the various preferences? I used to use Avast 4
and I heard that the earlier versions of 5 were not accessible. I did not
wish to wait until the company added accessibility into their products and
so I uninstalled it and, for a while, switched to AVG. Shortly after this
Avast claimed to have accessibility into the current versions but I've never
had a chance to really see what was added or changed. I would love a
detailed analysis of what's been done as well as the strengths and
weaknesses of Avast regarding screen reader accessibility if you have the
time and energy to offer comments.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] My struggles with Mcafee are over;

What I have to say here is not an advertisement in any way for anything; it
is my experience with Mcafee. Three days ago I uninstalled Mcafee and
installed avast. Ever sense then, my machine has ran much faster, problem
free, and has been a pleasure to use. I should have done this years ago; I
can't speak for anyone but me but it has made a huge difference.
