Dan, Can you comment on how accessible the current version of Avast is with screen readers?
How easy is it to go into the various preferences? I used to use Avast 4 and I heard that the earlier versions of 5 were not accessible. I did not wish to wait until the company added accessibility into their products and so I uninstalled it and, for a while, switched to AVG. Shortly after this Avast claimed to have accessibility into the current versions but I've never had a chance to really see what was added or changed. I would love a detailed analysis of what's been done as well as the strengths and weaknesses of Avast regarding screen reader accessibility if you have the time and energy to offer comments. Three days ago I uninstalled Mcafee and installed avast. Ever sense then, my machine has ran much faster, problem free, and has been a pleasure to use. I should have done this years ago; I can't speak for anyone but me but it has made a huge difference.
