No, no, you don't have to uninstall Adobe Flash Player. Just install it using Ninite Installer, and you will be up-to-date without any of the hassles of downloading it from the Adobe site.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Updating Adobe Flash Player

Hi All,

It looks like Adobe has a new update for Adobe Flash Player out that Kim Komando says is a critical update.

I did the updateflash.org thing for both IE 8 and Firefox 4 and it said I'm up to date, but the version mentioned is lower than what is listed on the Adobe site for the new version.

I did not see the three button thing for Adobe to update when my XP Home booted up this morning. I gather the only thing to do is to uninstall Adobe Flash Player and to install the new version. I've got Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX and Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin in add/remove programs. Do I remove both of them?

JAWS 10 and 12 are installed here.

Thank you,

Margaret
