My apologies, I totally forgot to mention this important difference. It
wasn't until this question came up that I recalled the difference in the two
ways of accessing the Windows context menu. For those following along and
finding themselves getting a bit confused :), there are 2 ways of accessing
the windows 7 context menu. The first is using the windows applications key,
and using this method will not show the Copy as path option. If you use the
second method which is using shift + F10, you will definitely see this
option to copy as path. Again, the copy as path feature allows one to copy
the whole path of a file to then paste anywhere else using the normal
control + V method. this is definitely a much appreciated time saver.
Would someone with a full keyboard with an applications key please do me a
favor and highlight a file, press the windows applications key, then up
arrow repeatedly to see if the Copy as path option is presented. Remember,
the key is to press the up arrow looking for Copy as path.

David, yes that was what I thought too. Also, "run as a different user"
seems to be in the shift+f10 menu but not in the application key menu.

This works fine. The interesting thing to me is that I have been under the
impression for a long time that shift + F10 and the applications key are
the
same, I see now that is not the case. Copy as path is available with shift
+
F10 only. To think I have been using copy path for a year already on this
system without needing it.

Windows7 I could simply press shift F10 on my laptop then either press the
letter A until I find Copy as pathand press enter. I can also press shift
F10 and up arrow to the Copy as path option. Shift F10 is the same as
