Once again, it appears that Microsoft has taken something simple, and 
screwed it up.
You can't password protect a zip archive like you could in Windows XP, at 
least from what I have seen.
You can set permissions on files and folders however.
If I were wanting to password a particular folder, I believe I would try a 
third -party application with a smoother interface.
The easiest way to protect your files from the keyboard end, is to use a 
log-on password,
and set up a guest account if you are going to let others on your system.
I have a user log-on for all of my systems, and noone else is allowed on 
them.
There should be some software on the website for file protection.
