You could try Recuva, a free utility that attempts to recover lost files.
No guarantee that it will work, but its free and JAWS accessible.

I've made a mess of my C drive, by stupidly deleting an unknown number of
folders, & am hoping for a miracle I guess...
There not in the Recycle bin unfortunately.
I'm using Windows XP with Jaws.
Is there a method, or a program accessible with Jaws, that I can buy that
will restore the folders & their contents?
