Thanks David. I will run a test using the H as a switch on it and let you know.

Take care.

According to my information the -h switch is not used and I just checked the
command line argument with the /? to list all of the available options. I
suggest you try it out prior to trusting it for the first time on Sunday
night. Remember the hyphen goes before each switch as in -r for reboot.

So make sure you read my original command line with punctuation turned on so
you don't miss anything.

Hi David,

You are such an abundance of great knowledge!
This is exactly what I needed and I wish I
thought of this question for the list 5 years
ago. I have been recording a radio program of old
radio shows on Sunday night all those years from
7 to 11 PM and by the time it finished with the
conversion to MP3, it is usually 11:20 PM. By
that time I am tired and wanted to go to bed an hour earlier.

I will try it out next Sunday. What a great time saver!

One question though. You mentioned that you can
either shutdown with the S switch or
restart with the R switch. Can I use H for
hibernation which is what I prefer? If not, I will just do a shutdown.

Thanks for this information and keep up the great work! Take care.
