Any files in any folder are sorted/arranged by one of the column headings, for example, name, file type, date saved, etc.
Use the JAWS cursor to click on the column heading that represents the ordering you prefer. You can switch between ascending order and descending order by clicking the column heading once more. To rearrange the order in which files are sorted by name, you can rename the files; for example, add numeric prefixes to existing file names. Remember that the numbers 10 and 100 will be sorted after 1 and before 2 so leading zeroes may be necessary, for example, 001, 002, etc. hth Bob ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom" <tclar...@gmail.com> To: <blind-computing@jaws-users.com> Sent: Sunday, June 10, 2012 5:23 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] rearrange compressed audios does anyone know how to put saved, downloaded, compressed audio books in a folder in a different order?
