Hi Anna,
I am not sure what the computer is trying to download. However, I
normally accept anything that comes through the normal windows update
process. The warning may mean the download is an executable file. This would
alarm the security software. However, it may be perfectly normal as a
windows download. I really do not know.
Just my thoughts.

Hi all,
all of a sudden when I go to the windows update web site to view my update
history I get the security dialogue to down load something and when I say no
to it it goes to the windows update website but the review your update
history is unavailable .
could someone please tell me what the security dialogue wants me to update?
and should I down load it?
I am using windows xp service pack 3
