There are plenty of them out there - generally sort of localised, but, don't see why should/want to pay for a service that will only use occasionally, and, there are some similar pieces of software in windows itself, but they don't seem to want to cooperate with jaws etc...<smile>

Hi Jacob:
Something in the back of my mind says there used to be a website where
one could send a document to someone as a fax. I never had to do this. Thus,
I do not have all the specifics.

God bless,
Mark

Is there some relatively simple, free fax software that will let you send
faxes from your PC using something like a modem, or mobile phone attached
via USB cable, that then shows up as possible modem..?

Would specifically want to send things like PDF files, scanned images etc.
as part of fax message, but don't want to have to rely on any specific
hardware, like an old HP officeJet, etc., and unfortunately, something like
windows fax, in windows7 doesn't seem to want to cooperate as such...?
