I understand, since it is an intra net item can you check with the page creators, to see if the table does in fact include headers, and/or you might be able to check for yourself by looking up tables on the w3cschools.com website to find out what a table header tag command is (I can't remember off the top of my head) and then opening the page, and going into your browsers view menu and finding a "source" option, this will show you what is behind the nicely printed page to the code that runs it

Unfortunately, I am not in a position to share the web address of the page I am having trouble with. The page in question is on our companies intranet, it requires authorized access, hence the limitation in sharing the URL. On many webpages I come across tables that are not structured as tables, yet they appear and are identified by JAWS as tables. I can navigate them using the navigation keys for tables, but I can't get JAWS to read the column headings. I tried to get into table layer mode, JAWS KEY + SPACEBAR + T, but this too does not help in announcing the column headings/ titles. Any suggestions on how I can be helped in this situation will be highly appreciated.
