Hi Becky,
I am using the HP scan jett 5000. It is a real work horse.
Unfortunately, my computer caught a Trojan malware, and since then I haven't
been able to get the driver to install properly. Still working on that one.
Anyway, I scanned more textbooks with it than I care to think about. I used
the OCR software that came with it free. Most of the time it does a great
job if one has the settings right.
God bless,
Mark

Subject: [Blind-Computing] scanners
Hi all.
I have a Visioneer One Touch 7300 scanner that I used with XP and Text
Cloner Pro. I wanted to move the scanner to my Windows 7 computer along
withthe the Text Cloner Pro, but it appears the scanner will not work with
Windows 7. I cannot find any updated drivers for the Visioneer 7300, so was
curious what brand of scanner folks are using with Windows 7?
Becky
