Hi
I use a hp Scanjet 5000 as I recall. I bought it when I was
attending the university. Thus, I had more money back then. Smile.
What I aspecially like about this scanner is that it can scan up to 25
pages double sided a minute. A wonderful help when converting
textbooks to computer files. I wish I could get it to connect to my
windows 8 machine. I am still working on that.
One thing I am particularly fond of is that HP has image to text
conversion software one can install at no extra charge. It seems that
sighted people like this feature also. It was a little challenging as
a blind person to set it up. However, once it was running the results
were good.
I hope this helps.
God bless,
Mark
