I use winamp too and it's much easier to navigate than windows media player.
I have to correct myself on something. I should have paid more attention
when you mentioned you're trying to play a CD. I don't know why but I was
thinking of playing mp3 files in a folder.

I use Winamp. In the Winamp window and using JAWS, just hit the letter S
for shuffle and R for repeat. They are toggle keys for on and off. Also,
Insert H will give you the JAWS hot keys.
