My office suite is Microsoft 2003, very close to 2000.

My speech program is Jaws 9.

My source for music is Windows Media Player.

Perhaps I've missed it, but, if not, the first thing you need to do is tell us what program you use to listen to your cds: winamp, windows media player.

Which operating system you use, or which speech program, could be helpful
too.

I am still confused. I've tried to find the place that needs to be
unchecked, and I'm still lost.

Could you please give me the idiot's version of what I need to do?

Cliff For instance. Where is the insert key?

Hi, Cliff,

I use winamp too and it's much easier to navigate than windows media
player. I have to correct myself on something. I should have paid more
attention when you mentioned you're trying to play a CD. I don't know why
but I was thinking of playing mp3 files in a folder.

Sorry about that.

Rosemarie

Hi Cliff.
I use Winamp. In the Winamp window and using JAWS, just hit the letter S
for shuffle and R for repeat. They are toggle keys for on and off. Also,
Insert H will give you the JAWS hot keys.

I've been trying to correct that problem.
Where do I go, and how do I get there?
As you can probably tell, I rarely use my computer as a CD player.

Hi Cliff.
Make sure your player is not set to Shuffle.

I was playing some newly-acquired CDs on my computer, last night.

The songs were played in more of a random order, rather than the order
given on the package.

I'd like to hear these songs in their original order.

How do I accomplish this?
