Hi Tom, You can look in your system tray to see what programs are starting when Windows starts. The keystroke is, Insert + F11. A cleaning program like CCleaner is a third party program that you would have had to install. Cleaning programs like this are programs that will clean various things from the computer depending on how you have the program configured. It sounds like you may have a setting in Favorites or Internet Explorer set to not save favorites but, I don't know what setting that would cause the problem you're having.
