Let me say first of all I do agree with David, I have seen nothing insulting or abuse here, so hopefully it is a misunderstanding.
Let me answer your question though.
In my work a number of programs, rather different versions of the same program run. My I.T. supervisor tells me that you need to install them as separte enities, as if they were different products altogether.
Then you can exit one and enter the other.
The problems will arise when both are activated at the same time.
However Mike, my I.T. supervisor tells me that it is highly unlikely that your earlier version is being over run by the later version.
It will be there somewhere.

hi friends,
i was useing ms office 3 before some days.
but now i wanted to use office 2003 and also 2010.
i canbut after installing office 2010 i am not able to use office
2003.
because my office 2003 is upgrated in to office 2010.
and only short cuts are there in all programs.
so getting arror message of problem with shortcut.
and i am also not getting the icon of office 2003 in program and
fitures.
so please tell me what should i do?
can i use both virsions of ms office or not.
and please share the titorials of ms office 2010 if you have.
because i will have to read it to access all the new features.
