I am one of 3 blind AT instructor's at our rehab center. We each currently have one desktop PC running Windows 7. We primarily do Jaws training but also offer Window Eyes and Zoomtext training. We're wanting to upgrade to Windows 8, while also continuing to train on Windows 7 as needed; but do not have the money nor space for an additional PC. We're exploring our options and considering either partitioning the hard drive in order to run both OS's; or, running the second OS inside a virtual machine on the same PC. We're just not sure which would be the simplest and most accessible; keeping in mind that we may need to switch back and forth between OS's for each class. Any tips or guidance would be very much appreciated.
