hi there, to have 2 opperating systems on one computer, you need to do the folowing. go to the start menu and in the search box, you need to tipe disk arrow down the list till you find creat or format hard disk partitions click on enter. you will then find a listing of your hard drives which you can change. find your main drive, and click on shrink volume
a message will come up saying querying shrink space please wate. after that you will be shown how much you can shrink your disk to. type the number of bites you wish your disk to be shrunk to, and click on shrink. after the opperasion has completed, write click using the applications key and click on creat new simple volume. folow the instructions in the wizard when it comes to the name of the volume keep it blank windows calles it new volume. this is ware you will install your new opperating system to. get the disk of the opperating system you wish to install e.g another copy of windows 7, and put it in side the dvd drive. run setup.exe which can be found inside the root of the dvd drive. windows setup will start loading. you will need to agree with the lisence agreement before you can continue. please folow the instructions in windows setup. when it gets to the partision screen, select the partation you created earlia and click enter. windows will then start coppying files to a tempery folder on your hard drive. your computer will reboot severall times while windows installes. note. you will not have jaws after the reboot. after windows has finished installing, press windows key plus u to launch narrator. you will be in the coppy of windows you just now installed. note to use the original coppy of windows, go to run windows key plus r. type in the folowing msconfig press enter. you will then find a window with severall options write arrow to boot tab. in your boot list select on windows 7 it will be for eggsample windows 7 c:\windows and you can set it as defalt by pressing tab untill you find set as defalt. click on okay after you have finished.
