I wonder if in Outlook there is something like a reading pane like in OE that could be on in this case? If so unchecking that would fix it. I don't use Outlook myself so can't fully confirm that; here in WLMail it's in layout under the view submenu, and since WLMail is something between OE and Outlook it could be similar. Martina
