ok folks, here you go * Starburn Audio CD burning instructions * 1. start star burn, it will give the registered to and version numbers in full (you can hit control to shut jaws up). 2. put a blank disk into the burner you wish to use (if you do not you will goof up the smooth operation within two steps). 3. when the windows "what do I do with this" dialog pops up just hit escape to close it. 4. if you need to alt tab back into the star burn window, then hit alt and a to open the actions menu and select and enter on burn audio. 5. the burner wizard will open up a separated window, in it there will pop up a dialog box that will say select burner, and then scanning system and when it settles down it will have you in a list of all your burners and you pick the one you loaded with the "blank disk" which will be indicated by that word after the burners name and then tab to the next button and enter on it. 6. you will go to the audio files section, where you select what you wish to burn, like many other burn programs your in the empty file list, tab once to the "add files" button and enter on it. 7. now you wind up in a basic "open dialog box", go through it and select your files, a few of the special file selection keys will work once you get to where your files are at, control a, control and down arrow and shift and down arrow are the main ones. select all the files you wish (or do one at a time repeating these steps until you have them all), tab to and spacebar/enter on the "open button" 8. you will hear something like loading files repeated a few times, then this will put you back in the original file selection window (step 6), but your focus will be the list, and your files should be listed there with loads of info with them, if you tab three times you will find the total track time out of box, it will automatically update if you add or remove a song. ** note, so you do not need to ask this is the only other "difficult part of star burn, if you wish to remove songs you must use your jaws/mouse cursor to select them, then go back to the PC/active cursor and tab to the remove button and enter/space bar on it, or remove all and start over, your choice). 9. one tab after the total tracks duration field, there is an editable field that will read "artist" you can leave it blank or type in any short identification you wish (the disk name works). 10. then tab to the start button and hit enter/space bar.
