Hi Mike,
Nomemally, the router has an IP address that one puts in the address bar of their web browser. If you know the name and mottle number of your router, you can usually find the IP address on line. Anyway this should open what looks like a web page. However, it is actually coming from within your router. This page usually has all the access to the settings for the router. One thing I do know from experience is that you may have to try a few different IP addresses since manuactorers may use several for different mottles ETC.
    I hope this helps.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Accessing My Router

Hi All,

I've been hearing a lot about Plug & Play needing to be turned off in the
router to help prevent someone from accessing it, how do I open the router
to check this setting? All help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all
very much.
Take care.
Mike
