Hi you don't need to unload jaws. I have had this problem before uninstall
your adobe flash player that you currently have and then reinstall 11.

Using XP SP3, JAWS 12. Was installing Flash 11 today. It got to the 50%
mark and then told me to close the following programs. I closed IE 8 and
Outlook. I then retried, and it insisted I close the program. Gave me a
graphic number but not the name of a program. When I hit insert, alt,
delete it says the install Flash is the only thing running. Do I have to
unload JAWS? Never have had to before.
