They are still working on JAWS. They haven't abandoned it at all. [Their website lays out all accessibility plans,](https://otterinsanity.co.uk/what-is-coy) including making console versions accessible. You may want to ask them why initially supporting JAWS is 10 times more difficult than supporting NVDA initially.
I'm pleased to see the Android version is mostly accessible, but a lot of work needs to be done.
