I dunno, I can see a game where you only explore getting boring very quickly. What about some automated tasks for the company/crew to complete while you're offline? Makes it feel like a real crew instead of solely being used as a mechanic to control multiple ships as a player. Also there's very little guidance when you start, you just have to assume that you do these kinda boring delivery jobs for a while. I guess the first progression milestone is when you pay off your starting company debt.
