I'm in the northern section of this area after you go through the gate.
and I know where that one empty chest is, and so far,that is the only
thing I'm sure about.

I've been circling around and through this patch of ice forever.
I have just found the Snow Rescue suit. There's a patch of ice to
my east and the empty chest just a little southwest of my
location. . Can someone tell me if I am at least heading in the
right direction or have I been sliding around, using up all of my
Encounter Downs, in the totally wrong area for more than an
hour? Is there a general direction I should slide or walk from
where I am now, a certain path I should follow, etc.
