Yes, i am using VoiceOver. Have you tried to, after opening the crafting menu, touch the screen somewhere? Sometimes the button, where you can switch between containers, boxes and jewelry is somewhere. But when you catch one of these, swiping will get you to the right one.

first cora tells me to open the skills menu.
opening the skills menu gets
cora telling me to open up the crafts corner, opening up crafting
menu gets cora telling me it looks like I'm set to make tools and to
switch over to containers.
No containers on crafting menu so I'm stuck.
