It's the same for druid totems. After I find a suitable limb or branch I type something like:
totem carve create wolf to start; then remove the word create until it says I can't find any way to carve it more, basically; then I add the those finish to the above command to seal its magic.
Also, it may be carve totem rather than totem carve; but I think it's totem carve. Not the most intuitive word order but it gets the job done.
The guild is fine.
tailor list hat keyword
wizard's hat - wizard magician witch hat
tailor create wizard rainbow nettlecloth
You find rainbow nettlecloth for 10 gold coins...
You cut out a pattern for a wizard's hat from the rainbow nettlecloth and begin to work...
Crafting commands can be somewhat confusing. Specific keywords and ordering matters more than is desirable, but the command is definitely not broken.
