Hi, Shaun.

Snip:
how do you play with a mouse.
where do you click on the screen.
End snip

As far as games goes the mouse operates no different from a joystick.
Have you ever played with SOD with a gamepad or joystick? Well, it would
work the same with a mouse. In fact, they are great game controllers no
matter if you are blind or not. I imagine the only thing James had to do
is to keep tracking the mouse to absolute axis values and not let the
mouse wander to every possible direction.
As far as targeting goes the 3D environment helps you direct it to the
sound source to fire your weapon, and a scope or other sound cue would
help as well.
In case, you think James North is nuts I will confess I was conciddering
supporting the mouse in some of my future titles after STFC as well. As
it is a game controller that is rarely used by the blind, but could be.
Let's think a little more people. We all want to be more like sighted
gamers, or did we just give up?
