Hi all,
Gabe, I wrote you personally about the force feedback problem. I have heard
nothing about it being a bug in DirectX 8. If it were, it would be a bug in
the DirectX runtime and it would be solved by installing DirectX 9. Probably
this steering wheel doesn't use the X or Y axis but any of the other
available joystick axis. I haven't been able to test the game on all types
of steering wheels.
I know about the cars not passing by when they lap you. I've also heard
about the mysterious multiplayer crashes. I will try to solve as many of
these bugs as possible in the final patched version that I'm working on.
I'll also try to improve the force feedback effects.
Drive safely,
Davy
