Hi,
Maybe so, but having the original source is going to be a big help. I
will have all the information such as hit points for enemies, level
layouts, size of objects, how fast the player moves, jumps, etc... In
other words I have a template with scoring and everything i need without
having to come up with that from scratch. Would have been nicer to use
the old engine, but rewriting will be ok as well as I can improve it. in
the end that will be a better game for the end users.
