n Thanks Dale for the excellent posting on all those buzzing critters. I'd like to add, as many of you know all of these hornets-bees or whatever present a problem to us as blind handy folks in the sense all of them do not make a loud noise until we find them with fingers or tools when doing repairs. I'd also like to say that this house on the East side has had yellow jackets since the place was built in 51. even when we had new siding put on a few years ago and all nests, I think 3 of them were destroyed. and sure enough each year on that side of the house they come right back. Maybe we can get the list moderator to have a chat with these pesky Queens.Lee
