Thanks Dale for the excellent posting on all those buzzing critters. I'd 
like to add, as many of you know all of these  hornets-bees or whatever 
present a problem to us as blind handy folks in the sense  all of them 
do not make a loud noise until we find them with fingers or tools when 
doing repairs. I'd also like to say  that this house on the East side 
has had  yellow jackets since the place was built in 51. even when we 
had new siding put on a few years ago  and all nests, I think 3 of them 
were  destroyed. and sure enough each year on that side of the house 
they come right back. Maybe we can get the list moderator to have a chat 
with these pesky Queens.Lee
