Hi: On another note, I am looking at insulating my crawlspace. I had a bid from a guy that sprays foam in, but he wants about $1500.00 to insulate the sill plate, in the crawlspace from the floor joists to the dirt, including over the top of the existing Styrofoam along the walls.
He was also going to do the basement.from the floor joists to just below the sill plate. Is this high? I am looking at putting fiberglass insulation between all floor joists, in the crawlspace, but I need something else for the sill plate. Any ideas?
