We live in SC. I have heard different opinions on whether or not you are suppose to close the vents or leave the vents to the under side of your house open in the winter. The reason for closing the vents is to keep the cold air out and this keeps pipes from freezing. Also I have heard you are suppose to leave them open so the under side of your house can get fresh air. What is every one's opinion on this?
